A very successful 2012 Drag Racing Season is winding down at historic Pacific Raceways. Beautiful sunny skies greeted the racers and fans on “Racer Appreciation Day”. Nearly 180 racers and fans enjoyed close racing that eventually saw a rare double win by the “DG Machine Team” as Dale Green won the Electronics Gambler beating Portland’s Bill Heard and DG Machine employee Dallas Glenn won Non-Electronics Gambler by defeating Gary Clark.

Following the racing action, the evening featured the annual Pacific Raceways Awards Banquet. Winners from first through third place were crowned in all of the Auto Max USA Bracket Classes from Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Junior Dragster and Motorcycle. Pacific Raceways Drag Club for Motorcycles (PRDC) was won by Jake Havens. Special recognition was given to 2012 Pacific Raceways Employee of the Year Jason Ronan.

Sunday was another Test and Tune with both Electronics and Non Electronics Gambler categories. Winning in Electronics was Al Quigley over Al Chinn and in Non Electronics it was Dustin Ward defeating Ken Ward.
