03 May 2015 Bremerton, WA – Winning at an early age can set in motion the desire to repeat what they just felt after doing so. The competitive drive is all from within. It is well documented that a lot of today’s winning drag racers started at an age while still in grade school. The Jr. Dragster drivers that came out for a chance to experience that feeling but also with that win would get you a little statue.
That statue a small version of the one’s earned at the National events. Highly prized no matter when it is won, just starting or experienced racer, a joyful scene either way.
Winning today in the Jr. Thunder class Porter Johnson smiled with the trophy. In the Jr. Lightning class Korban Lewis was the lucky one as 13 entries went after it. Other winners from today saw William Nitta come thru in MC, Gary Gandee picked up the win in Sportsman, the Pro class saw the Nova of Rob Lindley collect, Bill Vest is getting that wagon dialed in as he topped the field in Super Pro and in the Super Comp final two old friends, Dale Green and Steve Glenn in their dragster’s with Steve picking up the win by running the 8.90 number. Good job by all in today’s races.
