07 Feb 2015 Kent, WA – Drifting on water is the only way to describe the rental kart race today. Driving in the rain is hard enough with good tires made for the wet weather. Now take away the tread that give you the grip and go as fast as you can and negotiate a curve in either direction without spinning out. This was the challenge for today’s racers.
Carry too much speed into the corner and you could find the back end of your kart wanting to lead the way. Transferring what you feel in your butt to your right foot is where the learning to drive on slicks and wet weather come into play in a kart. PGP is open rain or shine so come on out and put it to a test driving in inclement weather.
Taking the top spot today Cem Aykan showed them how with Tamer Ozkaraoglu coming in second and Maurice Shawver rounding out the top three.
