20 Aug 2014 Kent, WA – Custom bikes, drag bikes, new cars, old cars. The range of racers rides in the High School and Urban Custom Bikes series at Pacific Raceways for a mid-week race night was large.
The last race for both and a better look for next season were in store for the bikes. The first season as a sponsor for Urban Custom Bikes was great, and they had a blast and are already looking forward to next year.
Five rounds of racing saw Chris Benda and John Plaster square off with John using a better reaction time edging Chris in a close one at the finish line.
The high schoolers pitted the girls against one lone guy, though the guy is connected to the to the very good Biscay girls. It was a gift or lucky brake work at the finish line for Peyton Biscay, as this race as in time trials something let go on her burnout putting fluid in the box stopping the run, for the moment.
Luck or what then allowed her to single to the finals and meet up with Jessica Biscay. The headline here could read “Breakout gives trophy to broken axle”. A 21.857 ET at 44.68 mph burning rubber on the left tire saw Peyton got the win as Jessica ran too fast.
