26 July 2013 – Kent, WA Nineteen times throughout the USA the Goodguys make a stop to show off what was cool “back in the day”. For the 26th time here in the Seattle area the combination “car show” and “drags” hit the mark again. No weather issues in sight, a great day for racing, temps nearing eighty degrees with a slight breeze to make it comfortable for those watching in the stands.
Prime track prep tested those who dared test it, with a few not able. Older rods, some still in “original parts” did not have the “grip” off the line that is applied today. Put it back together and test it again next year when Good Guys returns next year. Check their web site www.good-guys.com on where they are headed to next and for sure when it comes out, next years dates.
