For the second day in a row mother nature shined on the Pacific Raceways Drag strip. The race numbers for the event are not a true indicator of actual races that have been held. This day though the weather gave everyone who entered a full day of racing. 120 entries in the ET and Jr. classes made for some close racing. In the end the winner’s are:
Jr. Thunder’s Josh Schmanke win on a foul over Ian Theofeus.
Jr. Lightning seen #1 Qfy. Sierra Rohr edge Lane Cavar in a double breakout
Jim Funderburg ran closer to his dial-in to beat Michael Gosselin in motorcycle
Jerry Durant’s drive from Oregon earned him a runner up to Paul Young in Sportsman
In the largest car count of the day, Tony Pearce edged Brandon Reeves in the Pro class
The dragster of Darral Petitt in Super Pro got the win when the Dart of Jess Dale ran too quick.
